Your experience includes a Marina Market voucher, leaving the difficult decision entirely up to you.

Coffee, lunch, something sweet or a little bit of everything? We’d probably choose the last option.

Meet Cork’s Independent Spirit

From there, discover another side of the city at Rebel City Distillery, home of Maharani Gin.

Your visit offers a glimpse behind the scenes of an independent Cork distillery and the people, ingredients and ideas behind what they make.

There is something particularly enjoyable about discovering a city through the people creating things in it. This is one of those places.

We’ll also point you towards some of Cork’s ARDÚ street art, adding another side of the city’s story to your time exploring.

Then Come Back Up the Hill

After a day spent out and about, make your way back to The Montenotte.

Have a swim, walk through the gardens or simply settle into your room and look back across the city you’ve spent the day discovering.

Before you arrive, our team will welcome you to The Montenotte with details of what’s waiting for you over the weekend.

We’ll confirm the plans we’ve made, let you know what’s happening around the hotel and give you a little inspiration for the time in between.

Think of it as your Montenotte weekend, already mapped out. You don’t have to follow every part of it. Sometimes the best plan is the one you change halfway through.

Dinner with a Little More to It

On an evening of your choice, your table will be waiting in Panorama.

Dinner begins with our signature bread service and an amuse-bouche from the kitchen before three seasonal courses from Executive Chef Martin Lovell and his team. The menu celebrates Irish produce, seasonal ingredients and the provenance behind what you’re eating.

This isn’t dinner squeezed into a weekend stay. It’s part of the weekend.

Cocktails Above Cork City

At some point, make your way to The Glasshouse. Perched above the city, it’s one of those places where one drink has a habit of becoming two.

Your experience includes cocktails here, with live music adding a little more atmosphere on Friday and Saturday evenings.

Pizza Day

Not every day needs a big plan. Stop by our Vintage Pizza Van between 2pm and 7pm for freshly made pizza and an easy-going bite before the evening begins.

Good pizza, great views and plenty of time to linger.

Champagne and a Movie

Hidden inside The Montenotte is our own private cinema.

Take your seats in Cameo Cinema, Champagne in hand, and settle in for an evening screening.

The lights go down, your phone away and for a couple of hours, the outside world can wait.

Explore the hotel through our art and heritage story, wander through the Sunken Victorian Gardens or join one of our garden tours when scheduled during your stay.

Then there is Motion Health Club if you fancy a swim, sauna or workout.

Before you arrive, we will be in touch to welcome you to The Montenotte and confirm your spa treatment and dinner times.

Your retreat includes two 30-minute treatments (30 minute back, neck & shoulder massage and a 30 minute skin specific facial) at Bellevue Spa, where the pace naturally begins to slow.

Afterwards, there is no need to get dressed and rush off. Enjoy some spa refreshments, spend time in our Salt Room and let the rest of the afternoon unfold at its own pace.

There isn’t one version of wellness. For some, it means movement. For others, it means a swim, an hour in the spa or doing absolutely nothing for a while.

During your stay, you’ll receive our wellness timetable, giving you the chance to explore some of the health and wellbeing experiences available at The Montenotte.
