The Weekend Experience has been created to bring together the very best of the resort over two nights. Good food, cocktails overlooking Cork, cinema, music, gardens, art and enough time in between to actually enjoy it all.

Available from Thursday to Sunday, this is The Montenotte with the weekend turned all the way up.

Your Weekend Starts at Check-In

Before you arrive, our team will welcome you to The Montenotte with details of what’s waiting for you over the weekend.

We’ll confirm the plans we’ve made, let you know what’s happening around the hotel and give you a little inspiration for the time in between.

Think of it as your Montenotte weekend, already mapped out. You don’t have to follow every part of it. Sometimes the best plan is the one you change halfway through.

Dinner with a Little More to It

On an evening of your choice, your table will be waiting in Panorama.

Dinner begins with our signature bread service and an amuse-bouche from the kitchen before three seasonal courses from Executive Chef Martin Lovell and his team. The menu celebrates Irish produce, seasonal ingredients and the provenance behind what you’re eating.

This isn’t dinner squeezed into a weekend stay. It’s part of the weekend.

Cocktails Above Cork City

At some point, make your way to The Glasshouse. Perched above the city, it’s one of those places where one drink has a habit of becoming two.

Your experience includes cocktails here, with live music adding a little more atmosphere on Friday and Saturday evenings.

Pizza Night

Not every evening calls for three courses. Sometimes, it’s better to keep things simple with freshly made pizza from our Vintage Pizza Van.

Good pizza, a relaxed evening and nowhere you need to rush off to afterwards.

Champagne and a Movie

Hidden inside The Montenotte is our own private cinema.

Take your seats in Cameo Cinema, Champagne in hand, and settle in for an evening screening.

The lights go down, your phone away and for a couple of hours, the outside world can wait.

There’s More to Discover

Explore the hotel through our art and heritage story, wander through the Sunken Victorian Gardens or join one of our garden tours when scheduled during your stay.

Then there is Motion Health Club if you fancy a swim, sauna or workout.

The Morning After

Breakfast is included both mornings, so take your time.

The weekend can start slowly. Coffee, breakfast, a swim, or a wander through the gardens. Then decide what happens next.
