What time is check-in and check-out?

Check-in is at 15:00 and check-out is at 12.00. In the Residence Apartments check-in is at 16:00 and check-out is at 11:00.

Do I need my credit card details with me on check-in?

Yes you do. For all guests checking into at The Montenotte Hotel, we require an in-person credit card where we will take a pre-autorisation to the value of your stay along with a small supplement to cover incidentals and to allow for charging to your room during your stay.

What is the cancellation policy?

Book with peace of mind at The Montenotte Hotel. We understand that at the moment more than ever plans can be impacted last minute, so we offer free cancellation 24 hours prior to arrival.

How do I cancel or amend my booking?

Yes, we have fast 300MB bandwidth WIFI, complimentary to the guests of the hotel. Please read all about our Health and Safety measures to ensure the safety of our guests and team.

Do you have car parking?

We have a complimentary on site car parking for all hotel guests and residents.

Do you offer magazines or newspapers to read?

We have partnered with PressReader to digitise our reading material and provide you access to over 7,000 of the world’s best publications. Are pets permitted?

No, we are not a pet friendly hotel, except for the registered assistance dogs only.

What time is breakfast?

6:30 to 10:30 Monday to Friday 07:30 to 11:00 Saturday, Sunday and BH Monday. We now offer both an extensive Hot & Cold Breakfast Buffet which is self-service. You can also order from our A La Carte Breakfast menu if you would prefer to do from the comfort of your own dining table.

Do you have a restaurant?

Yes, The Panorama Bistro & Terrace serves delicious dishes using local produce, has a relaxed ambience and panoramic views of Cork City & our Victorian Gardens.

Do you have to make a reservation for the restaurant?

Yes, The Panorama Bistro is by reservation only for Breakfast / Lunch & Dinner.

Are you taking dining bookings from non-residents?

Yes, we are accommodating non-residential dining bookings where possible and subject to availability, however we are residents only every Saturday night for Dinner from 6pm at The Panorama Bistro.

What time is the Panorama Bistro open until?

You can dine with us from 12:30 to 15:30 and from 17:30 to 21:30 for last orders. Last order for non-residents drinks is at 11:30 pm Sunday to Thursday and 00:30am on Fridays and Saturdays.

Can you book a table on the terrace?

Unfortunately, due to the uncertainly of weather in Ireland we do not take reservations for the Terrace and operate on a first come first come basis. We try our very best to accommodate any guests who wish to sit on our Terrace.

Is it a drinks only service in the Glasshouse?

Yes, while taking in the views, you can enjoy a range of exclusive botanical themed cocktails inspired by our Victorian sunken gardens that surround The Glasshouse. The Glasshouse is open Thursday to Sunday from 16:00 until late.

Are non-residents available to visit the Glasshouse for drinks?

The Glasshouse is open to both residents of the hotel and non-residents, and reservations are not required, tables are available on first come, first served basis, subject to availability.

Do you cater for dietary requirements?

Yes, we do cater for dietary requirements. Please note, for Afternoon Tea bookings with dietary requirements, bookings must be made a minimum of 48 hours in advance

Do you offer room service?

We offer room service 24 hours day and serve a limited size menu 21.30 to 06:30. Please note, room service is not available to the Residence Apartments.

Are children accommodated in the Panorama Bistro & Terrace?

Children are welcome in Panorama Bistro & Terrace until 9.00pm. Please note children under the age of 15 need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian

Can I make a group booking for the Panorama Bistro?

We do not accommodate large group bookings at The Panorama Bistro, the maximum group capacity per reservation is six persons so that we can deliver the best possible dining experience.

Rooms

Do you have family rooms available?

Unfortunately, we no longer have any family rooms available at The Hotel. Our largest hotel bedrooms consist of a double bed and a single bed and accommodate a maximum of 2 adults & 1 child or 1 adult and 2 children.. Alternatively, we have our 2 Bedroom Self Catering apartments available. Please call +353 (0) 21 4530050 and our reservations team would be happy to advise you on what would best suit your family.

Do you have wheelchair accessible rooms?

Yes, we have 3 fully accessible rooms at the hotel which are all our Boutique twin rooms. Please contact the hotel in advance should you require one of these rooms.

Do you have self-catering apartments?

Yes, our luxury Residence Apartments at The Montenotte Hotel, offer a fully equipped kitchen, open plan dining room & sitting room and are fully self-catering. We offer a selection of 1-bedroom apartments suitable for 2 guests and 2-bedroom apartments suitable for up to 4 guests.

Bellevue Spa & Motion Health Club

Do you have a spa?

Yes, the award-winning Bellevue Spa with 6 treatment rooms and a relaxation room located in the original house, home of the Merchant Prince of Cork. Pre-bookings are essential and we advise that you book your treatment at your earliest convenience. To do so, you can contact us on 021 453 0053, spa@themontenottehotel.com or book online. Do you have a health club?

Yes, the Motion Health Club is available for the residents of the hotel to use. Facilities include 20 metre swimming pool, sauna, steam room, jacuzzi and a fully equipped gym with cardio machines, weights and gym floor area. Pre-booking of a timeslot is essential, please contact motion@themontenottehotel.com to reserve your time. This can be done up to 7 days prior to your arrival. Do you have a pool?

Yes, we have a 20-metre indoor swimming pool, located in Motion Health Club.

Do you offer membership rates in the Motion Health Club?

Cameo Cinema

Do you have a cinema?

Yes, the Cameo Cinema is our luxury inhouse cinema. We show movies at 17.00 & 21:00 Monday to Friday and 17.00 & 20:00 Saturday and Sunday. Spaces are available on first come, first served basis. Movie listing is displayed at the hotel reception. Cameo cinema is complimentary for the residents of the hotel. The cinema is strictly for over 18’s.

Can non-residents visit the cinema?

Non-Residents can visit our Cameo Cinema Club with our Dinner & a Movie packages which runs Sunday – Thursday or our Champagne Lunch & Cinema Experience on Friday’s, subscribe to our Cameo Cinema Club Newsletter to be kept up to date with movie listings and more.

What are the best seating times to enjoy dinner and a movie?

To ensure you will not miss the start of the movie, we recommend the following times for dinner: Monday to Friday at 18:30, 18:45, 19:00 or 19:15 with the film starting at 9.00pm and Saturday and Sunday at 17:00, 17:45, 18:00 or 18:15 with the film starting at 20:00.

Do you have gift vouchers?

Yes, gift vouchers can be purchased online or physical gift cards can be purchased directly at the hotel.
