GIFT IDEAS FOR MOTHER'S DAY

Did you know that the modern holiday of Mother's Day was first celebrated in 1908! Anna Jarvis held a memorial for her mother at St Andrew's Methodist Church in West Virginia which now holds the International Mother's Day Shrine. Her campaign to make Mother's Day a recognized holiday in the United States began in 1905 as she wanted to tribute her mother by continuing the work she started and to set aside a day to honour all mothers because she believed a mother is "the person who has done more for you than anyone in the world".

It is very true that a mother’s work is truly never done, so we all know that the reason we have Mother’s Day is to celebrate at least once a year the incredible mother. Here at the award-winning Montenotte Hotel ,we have given a lot of thought in to gift ideas for Mother’s Day.
