This year the switch on will take place on Sunday, November 18th on St. Patrick’s Street. The celebrations will run from 6.30pm to 7.30pm and large crowds are expected at this wonderful and very popular event for all ages. By Jennifer McCarthy, The Bellevue Spa Manager

Modern research is showing us that making even the slight adjustments to the way we inhale, and exhale can halt allergies, asthma and autoimmune disease and even rejuvenate internal organs and improve overall health.

The key to optimum breathing for our health, endurance and longevity benefits is to practice fewer inhales and exhales in smaller volumes. We need to practice slow breathing and aim for 5.5 breaths per minute.
