With almost 30 golf courses and links in the county, Cork is certainly the ideal destination for a superb golfing holidaySome of Ireland’s best golf courses including the Irish Open course atFota Island Golf Club and the world renowned  Old Head of Kinsale Golf Links are situated in Cork, along with many other great courses from Little Island to Bantry Bay, Castlemartyr to Monkstown and many in between, Cork is a golfer’s paradise.

As the Ryder Cup is coming back to Ireland in 2026, and there are plenty of flight options from the USA to Cork, the Montenotte Hotel is an ideal location for a memorable Ryder Cup golfing holiday. Adare Manor is only one hour twenty minutes from the Montenotte Hotel, and with congestion and high rates in the locality, staying with us in Cork is an excellent solution.

At the Montenotte Hotel, we cater particularly for golfers; from our convenient location with short transfers to leading golf courses, our special golfing food packs, post golf spa treatments and recovery in our full size swimming pool or Motion Health Club and even special viewings of golf championships in our in-house hotel cinema "The Cameo".

We can cater golf packages for groups, large and small, and have excellent partnerships with the leading golf pros and clubs in the region.
